Wake Forest Northeast Community Coalition
The Northeast Community Coalition located in Wake Forest, NC is a small grassroots organization consisting of Northeast End neighborhood residents, local churches, businesses, community organizations individual partners, and multiple Town of Wake Forest departments. The coalition is currently focused on five main priorities; community engagement & events, food security & wellness, families, youth and seniors programming, housing and advocacy, and structure and sponsorships. The coalition holds monthly meetings and coordinates community events, programs, and activities based on the goals and aspirations of the neighborhood residents.
The coalition established and maintains the NECC community garden that has distributed over 300 pounds of fresh produce this year alone. NECC is the "model community" for NC3's work and is an affiliate community under the NC3 umbrella. To learn more about the coalition visit the website here.
Zebulon Community Alliance
The Zebulon Community Alliance, (ZCA) was established in 2023, by members of the Zebulon Juneteenth Committee with a commitment to provide long-term outreach and engagement to the vulnerable areas of the Zebulon community.
The Alliance is a local grassroots organization, that consists of residents, local churches, businesses, community organizations, individual partners, and Town departments. ZCA holds monthly community meetings the second Thursday of each month at 6:00pm. If you live, work or play in Zebulon, you are welcome to join meetings to help carry out the efforts of the Alliance.
